Morrigan Aensland vs. Hiei - The Battle

-Makai, the Annual Demon World tournament-

 The tournament scene was crowded, moreso than usual. There was word spreading around about the Aensland Family joining in on the tournament for once in centuries; the three-man team consisting of Morrigan Aensland and her sister: Lilith. The last was of a special guest they brought in named Talbain; a werewolf.

 Team Urameshi were already on a case that required them to enter this tournament. And already the idea of nobles fighting was a surprise. Granted if Koenma could get in, then anything was possible.

“Alright everyone! The first match is about to begin!” introduced Koto. As the fox-like demon backed away, she introduced the first combatants.

“Already we have an interesting show! One of our veterans: Hiei versus the Aensland noble herself: Morrigan Aensland!”

 Hiei smirked as he walked to the ring, his group looking in slight awe. Meanwhile; Morrigan began to stand as well; Lilith looking up at her.

“Hmhm, my this will be an intriguing test.” The Succubus said as she approached the ring. The two faced off, with Morrigan folding her arms while Hiei kept his at his side.

“Will you show me a good time?” asked Morrigan I her flirtatious accent. Hiei glared at her. “Even more. I don’t give a damn if you’re a noble or a commoner. I’ll kill you the same as I kill anyone else.” He responded. Morrigan smiled and chuckled, she felt honored.

“Alright! Is everyone ready?” Koto began, as she backed up, remembering what Hiei could do; she gave the clear.

“And go!”

 The two didn’t need permission, they already knew from instinct that this was going to be a fun battle.

FIGHT

 Unsurprisingly; Hiei attacked first, vanishing from sight. Morrigan herself backed up and bent backwards, dodging what was an instantaneous sword swing. By the time Hiei noticed; he was greeted with a powerful kick from the Succubus’ foot. The kick sent him skyward, leaving him open just long enough for Morrigan to jump to his level and throw a kick. Hiei grabbed the leg just mere moments before the Succubus’ foot could connect and threw her towards the ground.

 As Morrigan landed on her hands and knees; she glanced up and saw Hiei coming down sword first. The Succubus smirked and disappeared into the ground, dodging the sword without hassle. Hiei glanced around, sensing his foe hiding from him. And as soon as he looked down, he noticed a trial slithering to the ring’s edge: the trial itself resembling a shadow.

“How annoying.” He hissed. The demon charged forward to the last stopped location of Morrigan’s energy signature and swung the sword, aiming to behead her the second she reformed. However, what he saw was the shadow trial was still moving. He growled and threw a punch at the ground, causing it to raise from the impact. Morrigan quickly formed from the shadows and looked with an impressed glee.

 Hiei took this to his advantage and charged forth, throwing a series of punches.  Morrigan however; was prepared. She folded her arms and allowed the wings to shield her from the onslaught of fists. His speed was truly impressive.

 Hiei growled and his fists began to become engulfed in flames.

“Fist of the Mortal Flame!”

 His punches began to increase in both speed and power; much to the Succubus’ surprise. As Hiei’s onslaught continued; the Succubus decided to build the distance and  focused on her wing tips. As such, the tips extended and began to strike down at him. The demon was quick to notice and hopped into the air. Morrigan chuckled and had her wings unfold from her and shift into what appeared to be jet boosters.

“Huh!? Whats this? It appears that Morrigan turned her wings into rockets!” yelled the shocked ref. Morrigan aimed the booster downward and flew towards Hiei.

“Oh come on, you don’t need to run from me.” Teased Morrigan. “I’ll be ever so gentle.”

 Hiei just glared at her and noticed some of the broken pieces of the stadium. With a smirk, he decided to use his telekinesis for a shot. The piece of broken ground lifted from its place and flew at the distracted Succubus. Morrigan on the other hand, was faster.  She had her wings shift back to their normal state and folded her arms; allowing the tips to extend around her and flail in all directions. Hiei growled and let himself get hit… and vanished.

“An afterimage?” thought the Succubus. Hiei took full advantage of her confusion and attacked from the rear, with a powerful jab of his flame-covered fist, he struck Morrigan to the ground in the speed of a bullet.

CRAASSSHH!

 The ground rose around the stadium, shocking the audience, excluding Lilith.

“Tee-hee, shes going to have a lot of fun now.” She said, resting her chin on her fingers.

 Back in the stadium; Hiei landed on the ground with a single foot, placing his hands back in his pockets. He kept a stoic look. He knew there was no way in hell she was down from a single punch.

“You can come out now.” He stated. Morrigan picked herself from the ground and chuckled, dusting off her sleeve.

“I like getting down and dirty, but you just prefer the subtle foreplay. No need to hold back.” She teased. Hiei didn’t even want to reward that quip with a response. Instead, he grabbed onto his sword and vanished. Morrigan chuckled and turned her wings into jet boosters again, this tie facing her foe.As she held her arms back, she propelled herself into the air, dodging the trademark sixteen slashes. Hiei growled and hopped towards the woman, his fists becoming coated with flames.

 Morrigan just chuckled and arched back, holding her right arm out and forming a fist. When she gathered the energy she needed, she fired it at Hiei in the form of a blast of bat-like energy.

“Soul Fist!”

 Hiei threw a single punch, sending the flame from his fist into a steady stream of fire. On contact; the two blasts struggled for dominance… and in the end, Hiei won. At the cost of a single fist covered flame, he punched through the energy blast and used his telekinesis to stop Morrigan in her aerial tracks.

“Now, come here.” He hissed, forcing the Succubus towards his sword. Morrigan looked in amusement and decided to do so.

“All you needed to do was ask.” She joked. She turned the boosters and flew at Hiei, the suicidal maneuver stunned the demon in confusion just long enough for her to throw a single kick into his face.

 Any man (or woman or animal) would understand this pain. The heel struck right into his cheek, sending the demon across the stadium until he crashed near the edge. The demon simply wiped the blood from his lip caused from the kick (and likely from his bitten tongue) and stood, enraged. He noticed his sword was half way between him and the Succubus and made a dash for it.

“Ahh, you need toys to play around?” Morrigan asked, flying towards the demon. Hiei smirked as soon as she got close.

“Fist of the Mortal Flame!” he roared. Morrigan’s eyes widened in shock as his fists became engulfed in flame.

“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!”

 The Succubus couldn’t dodge. She was met with a rapid flurry of punches into her abdomen, face, and gut. The demon kept punching as much as he could, picking up speed with each punch.

“HA!!”

 On the final punch, he gave it a little spice. The fist hit Morrigan’s chin and propelled her into the air, leaving a trial of embers with her scream fading into the distance. The crowd looked in shock as they witnessed a noble get sent into the air. Hiei smirked, allowing the fists to return to normal.

“Hphm. Idiot.” He mocked. As he picked up his sword, he made for the ring. The stunned Koto was unable to make an announcement. That was when something inside Hiei stirred. He looked up and saw a faint glint in the sky. He assumed it was the ashes at first and looked back at Koto.

“Well? Aren’t you going to announce the victor?” he asked. Koto just pointed up, much to Hiei’s anger. He glared up but instead of seeing it, he heard it. The sound of a high speed jet.

“Still alive huh? Very well.” With that, the demon crouched and hopped into the air, aiming to meet Morrigan with his own fists.

“She withstood the Fist of the Mortal Flame with surprising ease. She may be a worthy opponent after all.” He thought. Hiei smirked and grabbed the wrapping on his forehead and tossed it: activating the Jagen Eye.

“Whoa! Hiei’s getting serious! Morrigan is going to be in for quite the surprise!” Koto screamed into the microphone.

 Morrigan flew downwards at Hiei, seeing him at his maximum jumping height. The speed she was decending could rival a Mach 8 super armor. She had the advantage here. She quickly had her wings form a drill around her legs and allowed gravity to do the rest. As the mach cone began to reach a tipping point; Hiei took note… and smirked.

“Too slow.”

 He vanished from sight, leaving Morrigan to crash into the stadium with the force to nearly level the spectators and the entire building. Koto screamed in terror and ran, nearly tripping over a slab in the process.

 As Morrigan regained her composure, she hopped back, dodging another barrage of slashes from Hiei’s sword. She took note and saw him vanish from view again. He was getting serious.

“Impressive.” Morrigan complimented, tilting her head to dodge another slash. He may have been faster. But her reflexes were on par. The Succubus grabbed his arm and pulled him close. The first thing Hiei saw was the sight of Heaven itself to men and women with functioning hormones… and felt them on his head.

 Kuwabara could just watch in envy as Hiei found himself in between Morrigan’s chest, the  Succubus bear-hugging him and flying into the air.

“Hmhmhm… Fall.” She instructed. The Succubus spun around, effectively performing a spinning pile driver Hiei into the ground at a single mach. The force caused a fissure across the ground as the  Succubus hopped back.

 Hiei stood, bleeding a bit from his head… and his nose. His nose must’ve been broken on contact. No matter how he handled it, he wanted this woman dead.

“You’re beginning to piss me off.” He warned. Hiei grabbed onto his shirt and ripped it off, revealing the abs that made women faint. Morrigan herself couldn’t help but giggle.

“Oh, I see you work out. Maybe we can take this somewhere else?” she asked. Hiei scowled. “Your wiles won’t work on me Succubus.”

 With that, the sky began to darken around the arena, Koto herself trembled.

“This isn’t good folks!” she announced. “It appears Hiei is preparing to use his ultimate attack!”

 Morrigan chuckled and backed up, curious as to what it could be. Hiei began to growl and yelled into the air before holding his arm out.

“Dragon of the Darkest Flame!!” he announced, his voice echoing throughout the stadium. Morrigan’s eyes widened as she was met with black flames of Makai firing from Hiei’s arm in the form of a pitch black dragon. Without hesitation; Morrigan turned and flew into the air, watching as the dragon followed her.

“Trying to run? USELESS!!” Hiei announced. As the black dragon followed; it began to open its maw and surround Morrigan. The Succubus folded her arms, allowing her wings to surround her as the dragon slammed its maw. The Succubus’ blood-curdling scream echoed across the stadium. Even Lilith was worried as she covered her mouth. Yusuke and Kuwabara even tensed up. While they were used to Hiei using this ability, the fact it was being used on a woman, a noble at that!

 Hiei however, felt a mix of contempt and satisfaction. He knew he would be exhausted from this ability and forced the dragon back into him, strengthening every attribute on him. This was a smart move too… as he looked, he saw his foe forming from the ground behind him. Morrigan’s clothes were severely burnt, her hair frizzled and some of her skin resembling what would happen if a man was hit by a flamethrower at point-blank range. She wasn’t amused anymore.

“It really has been awhile since I’ve fought someone this good. But you ruined me… Guess I can’t afford to play around anymore.” She announced. Hiei smirked.

“Good. A shame you waited this long to get serious.” He replied, he wagged his finger, making the classic “bring it” gesture. Morrigan was more than happy to comply. As her skin healed, and flew over and landed a kick against Hiei’s skull. His head tilted form the hit… but he wasn’t bruised at all.

“Is that it?” he asked. Morrigan looked in surprise and threw a jab, hitting his stomach. Hiei didn’t budge. She knew what this meant. He strengthened himself. However, she had more than one way of fighting.

 Folding her arms; Morrigan summoned forth a second her to appear behind Hiei. The demon looked at the second one without a care and threw a single punch at the Morrigan in front of him. The Succubus dodged and jumped back, firing a second Soul Fist at him. Hiei chuckled and let it hit him, just to show his superiority. However, that’s when he noticed something odd. When the blast struck him, something came from the impact; tiny bats?

 The bats flew into Morrigan, and she was smiling. Hiei realized his mistake instantly. And he had to correct it. That’s when he was hit from behind. Turning around, he saw two more bats fly past his face. The clone was using the same ability? Morrigan herself just had her wings shift into an entirely different shape, the same for the clone.

“Let us see how long you can keep that power-up.” Morrigan teased. The two Succubi began to fire away at Hiei, missiles flying at him from their wings. He scoffed and grabbed his sword, with a blink of an eye, he sliced apart each missile without fail with the flames of the black dragon coating it and went directly for Morrigan, who had her wings form to normal and instantly had the right one shift to resemble a blade. She began to glow a bright blue as well as she launched herself up.

“Shadow Blade!!”

 Hiei was hit dead-on, the force slashing into his skin and taking him into the air. What made this worse was the clone behind him was imitating Morrigan’s every move, cutting up his back. As the two Morrigans stopped, they flew into him, allowing the real one to head-butt him directly in the Jagen Eye. The two quickly performed a series of high-speed punches, kicks, and elbow strikes. In the end; they twirled around him while using their wings as blades and ended the combo with a powerful kick.

 Hiei crashed into the ground with enough force to raise the dust into almost several meters. And to make matters worse; his time was up.

 Burnt out, he had one final trump card. If he could use Dragon of the Darkest Flame just once more… he could revitalize himself. Holding his arm up, he began to yell.

“Black Dragon Wave!”

 Multiple blasts of black fire sprouted like tendrils in the air, each one attempting to burn at Morrigan. The Succubus chuckled and flew past each one and grabbed onto Hiei’s arm, slamming it against the ground. She had him pinned.

“Looks like it ends with me on top.” She whispered flirtatiously. Hiei growled and tried to struggle, his arms pinned as the woman licked her lips.

“Poor thing, you’re in pain. Don’t worry, I’ll put it all to end, and your pain will become ultimate pleasure. I promise.”

 With that; Morrigan gave Hiei a passionate kiss, the demon’s eyes widened as he futilely struggled. His body began to dry, his muscles fading, and with that, he was reduced to a skeletal husk. As Morrigan sat up, she turned to Koto and chuckled.

“I can’t wait for my next match.” She stated. The announcer looked in utter shock alongside the entire audience. It was worse for Team Urameshi, who just witnessed their ally, and one of their strongest: was given the kiss of death.

“The… the winner, is Morrigan Aensland.” Announced Koto. The Succubus chuckled and walked from the stadium. Her powers drastically increased, she just couldn’t wait for the next match.

K-O!!

Wendy: “Death by Snu Snu?”

Hakuboshi: “In a sense. Hiei may be faster than Morrigan, but speed hasn’t always guaranteed victory. What gave Morrigan the edge was her flight for one. Another being her various ways of movements. While the games show her primarily in flight, shes also capable of slipping through shadows and teleporting, giving her more movement than Hiei’s natural super speed.”

Wendy: “It doesn’t help that Morrigan could keep up with Iron Man’s Extremesis Armor, which moves at Mach 8. While Hiei is much faster than that, we still don’t know Morrigan’s top speed. And yes, we took to account his speed in crossovers since we did for Morrigan.”

Hakuboshi: “Also, Morrigan’s own abilities apply plenty of debuffs whereas Hiei’s Dragon of the Darkest Flame is a major buff. Also, she can absorb energy and apply it to herself, basically, she could strengthen herself while weakening her foe at the same time.”

Wendy: “In the end, THAT was the main thing that gave Morrigan the edge was RPG logic. Also, Hiei’s a bit of an asshole, and arrogant at that. This led him to making one fatal mistake, and as we all know, it only takes one to seal the deal.”

Hakuboshi: “But on the bright side, hes enjoying eternal bliss since Morrigan kissed him.”

Wendy: “That would have to imply he has hormones or sexual desires, so hes probably in hell… ah well! With that reminder of why everybody flocks to Felicia or Hsien-ko-”

Hakuboshi: “stayawayfromhsienko”

Wendy: “-And by the first kiss, the winner is Morrigan Aensland!”
