Painwheel vs. Mileena - The Battle

 The Skull Heart. This was a powerful item that can give a woman any wish she desired… for a price. If impure; the woman’s body will eventually become a vessel for it, to create the dreaded Skullgirl. Despite the information; this attracted the half-Tarakatin clone named Mileena. At the same time; it led a poor girl to become an experiment: a girl named Carol. The result turned Carol into Painwheel, an experiment whose sole purpose was to destroy the Skull Heart.

 For Mileena, the idea that she could lose her Tarakatin teeth and use this to gain the throne over her sister Kitana seduced every inch of her mind. She didn’t waste time requesting-nay- demanding Shang Tsung to open a portal for her. Granted, to the sorcerer, this was a good way to get her out of his hair for awhile.

It didn’t take long for the two to cross paths. The battlefield was the Grand Cathedral; one used to worship The Trinity: three Deities by the names of Aeon, Venus Lovelace, and the Mother, possibly named Lamina. The large church was empty. This was likely due to a recently ended service. The fact that these two were in only meant one thing to them: both knew that only one could pass. Carol didn’t want to face this woman. But Mileena was more than curious to see what this disfigured foe could do.

“Hmhmhm, you look like fun, lets dance.” Offered the clone. Carol growled; she didn’t want to face her. Before she could refuse the offer; the voice of her holder: Brain Drain, echoed in her thoughts.

“Painwheel. Dispose of her. She stands between the Skull Heart and you.” He demanded. Carol growled; trying her very best to ignore his voice.

“Get… get out of my head.” She hissed, turning to Mileena. The clone chuckled and got into a combat stance, Carol knew she couldn’t leave. She had to kill Mileena if she wanted to advance.

“Move out of my way.” She warned. Mileena just chuckled and got back into her combat stance; showing that she has made up her mind.

FIGHT

 Carol growled and held her arm at the pink clad foe. With a pained growl; her arm began to expand, some of the skin ripping open. She then fired at least five dart-like projectiles at Mileena. The clone chuckled and summoned forth her sais and used them to send the projectiles away. When she was finished, she saw Carol dashing at her on all fours, trying to close the gap. Mileena chuckled and vanished before her eyes. The experiment looked in confusion, and was greeted with a foot to the face as a result. The blow staggered her just long enough for Mileena to begin a series of powerful kicks to the face and a jab to her foe’s abdomen.

 As Carol leaned over, she was greeted with a powerful punch to the face and was sent to the ground as a result. Slightly dazed; Carol growled and hopped, allowing the pinwheel attached to her spine to rotate in the matter of a helicopter blade. Using the newfound aviation to her advantage; Carol flew away from Mileena, dodging an oncoming sai slash. The cloned princess growled and held her sais forward; twin pink blasts fired at Carol in the forms of Mileena’s weapons of choice. The experiment growled and flew around the blasts and charged for her foe.

 Grinning under her veil; Mileena charged forward and hopped, preparing to ram the sais into her enemy’s eyes. Instead; she was greeted with Carol’s hand grabbing her and slamming her against the ground. The force was enough to cause the ground to rise around Mileena’s head. Carol wasn’t done yet either.

 With a growl; she began to expand her arm muscles again then prepared to impale her foe’s face with a series of Bae Bolga parasites. Mileena wasn’t having it. With a quick kick to her enemy’s head; she forced Carol off then rolled onto all fours. Growling, she stood back up and resumed her Mian Chuan stance. With one hand balled to a fist in front of her face and the other in front of her chest as if it was a shield; she waited to see what her foe was going to do.

 Carol just stood and roared, followed by sending the pinwheel-like blade forward. Mileena hopped back, dodging the strike and began to teleport again. As if she was a shadow, she seemed to phase into the ground and attacked from above. This time; Carol was ready. Sending Buer Drive up, she had the pinwheel catch Mileena and hold her in place. She followed this up by ramming into Mileena, the force sent the clone forward; allowing Carol to extend the Buer Drive to grab her then pull her back towards her. With Buer Drive spinning at high speed; Carol roared and leaned forward, forcing the blade to slice into Mileena’s chest. With blood splashing along Carol’s face, arms, and
blade, she kept a tight grip and slammed Mileena back into the ground.

 The force was more than enough to leave a large imprint. Without hesitation; Carol extended some of her bones from her skin in the form of long nails from her legs, feet, front arms, and hands.

“Death Crawl!”

 Carol began to jab and run along Mileena; the Buer Drive spinning at high speed to slice up Mileena. The clone screeched in pain as Carol finally crawled from her stomach to her face then hopped off. The experimented school girl turned to make sure she had killed her foe… Turns out it didn’t fatally wound her.

 Standing back up; Mileena growled as she held her shredded clothes up and watched as her veil fell off; revealing her Tarakatin teeth. Carol looked in complete shock and backed up.

“You. You ruined my clothes… and my veil… I’ll kill you!” screeched the clone.

 Before Carol could react, likely due to her being paralyzed with shock from seeing the true face; she was greeted with a powerful roundhouse and a series of sai stabs into her stomach. She began to scream in pain but was met with a knee to her head. The force fractured her skull and chipped a few teeth from the force. Mileena wasn’t done yet. As Carol staggered back; the clone hopped onto her and began knowing onto her neck with the Tarakatin teeth. Carol began to cry in pain, struggling to push her foe off. It was nearly futile… and Mileena was getting closer to the jugular vein in hopes of ending this fight.

 Instead; she managed to keep one hand against Mileena’s chest and her muscles contracted. Several blade-like bones shredded through Mileena’s skin and bones, piercing to the other side of her body. The shock stunned Mileena long enough for her for to kick her off. During said kick just gave Carol the idea to extend the blades from her legs in order to stab into Mileena’s stomach and arms. When they retracted; Carol rolled back and began to scream.

 Her rage grew to its breaking point. And her desire to kill this woman reached its melting point. Forcing her arms back; Carol screamed with enough force that her mask nearly snapped off. Mileena managed to regain her composure and growled. She rolled against the ground and spun like a ball towards her foe. Carol simply responded by sending her Buer Drive forward and impale Mileena in place, the sudden stop made Mileena realize exactly where she was hit: the spine. And with four more blades jabbing down, all she could feel was her blood painting the pinwheel-shaped weapon. Her entire body felt cold at this point. Including the previous slashes, she realized it: she lost at least four meters of blood. A normal human would be finished at this point. And despite her non-human body, even she had limits.

 She wasn’t going to die this easily. With a screech; Mileena charged and began unleashing a series of jabs against the unsuspecting Carol. However, what surprised her was the fact that Carol wasn’t feeling any sort of pain. Much to her surprise; Carol grabbed Mileena’s arm and threw her against the wall. It was time to end this.

“Rrrrraaaaaaaaaaggghhh!!”

 That scream was the final thing she heard. As Mileena tried to defend herself; she saw Carol spinning and charge towards her at high speed, resembling a large buzz saw.

“Go to Hell!” screeched Carol. With that, she charged forward at the cold and barely moving Mileena.

 It took a few seconds at first; but Carol could feel it. The Buer Drive began to rip and tear through the skin, then the muscle. As the muscle began to be reduced to meat, the bones followed. With the bones themselves shredding and flying apart; she reached through the marrow with no effort, then the organs which ripped apart in mere seconds. Finally, there was the other half: the spine began to tear upwards, completely ripping in half up to the skull. At last; she tore through the muscle and skin again. By the time Carol reached the other side; Mileena was already dead. The woman was already taller than her so she was still intact somewhat. Carol didn’t need to continue. She was coated head to toe in blood, organs, and bone fragments. She had won. But her task was far from finished.

 With a pained and angry growl; Carol wandered across the Cathedral, she just wanted out at this point.

Wendy: “That was… quite gory… Replay!”

Hakuboshi: “At first Mileena had the fight in her favor. Being more experienced and having counters for Carol’s aerial dominance and weak maneuverability. Then it turns out that having a giant blade on your back works wonders for defense! Not only could it defend, but the speed it moves and the sheer amount of damage it can do alongside her bladed attacks easily left a lasting impression on Mileena’s body. 

Wendy: “But Mileena takes a crap ton of punishment anyway considering her series. How come it didn’t seem to matter?”

Hakuboshi: “It did at first. However, even the MK Universe has showed that anybody can die from impaling and suffer fatigue from a battle. When you lose blood; your body eventually collapses upon itself. Add in her mental instability which made her ignore ending the fight quickly and the eventual use of Carol’s superior defense and weapon; it gave her JUST the last minute advantage to get a close victory.”

Wendy: “Ha, I guess Mileena just needed to pull herself together!”

Hakuboshi: “The winner, is Painwheel.”
